Is the rise of LPO now an inevitability?

This is the kind of processing nightmare that corporates have charged their in-house teams to deal with and as the Gazette article suggests, there are firms now that claim to have the infrastructure and wherewithall to manage it profitably at a fraction of the price.

Is a return for the most annoying insurance advert ever on the cards?

To me it seems likely there will be a price-busting backlash from consumers as motor rates sneak up and it would therefore be safe to wager a few bob on the prospect that someone decides to dust off that old advert with the guy saying “Insurance costs! Stupid, just stupid.” If anyone can find it on youtube for me, please get in touch.
